Does anyone have any experience of the gill coast suit advertised in Force 4 for £199. Im looking for something that will keep me warm and dry, without costing the earth? I know some people have recommended fishing suits, but I would quite like to have the yachty bits to match the boat lol

I have Gill Coastal gear and have found it to be good. No complaints at all and I give it some stick.

Yoda

Ditto- only complaint is that the zips on the jacket pockets have alloy pullers. One has turned to dust after three years. I have repaired it with monel mousing wire, As long as sensible undergarments are worn it is warm and dry. One of the velcro tabs for sealing the cuff is looking a bit iffy but like you I wear it a lot.

RT6500 Navico VHF - mic lead

Hi Folks, the Navico RT6500 has come up in the Forum now and again, so I already know Navico aren't going to be much help.

I have a handset with a disintegrating cable. It's a decent enough radio, so I don't really want to ditch it just yet for the sake of a cable.

Can anyone help with a replacement,

OR

does anyone happen to know what the part/type number for the connectors would be?

I can't identify them, and there's only so much searching for 'small multipin connector' I can stand ;-)

I'm not sure if they are 'standard'. They look like they might be, but on close inspection, each radio I've seen looks to be different.

Cheers as always,

Jeff
