Good Evening all,
I've recently removed my gas tank due to leaking, While the tank is out I would like to clean up the part of the Bilge that was covered by the tank and supporting wood. Underneath I found A huge quanity of grease and oil....mixed with gas. I've flushed it out, picked up as much of the oil globs as I could and then even power washed it....However, The Bilge is still stained with oil and grease stains! Does anyone have any solutions to remove this? I've run out of Ideas!!!!

"Gunk" or "Jizer" - available at any auto parts retailer. Orange can or green bottle respectively. Real names -honestly.

Paint.

Nothing will shift well worked in oil stains - well nothing that won't also damage the boat. Reduce as far as possible using the products that others list, then paint over the area with decent bilge paint (eg Danboline). It'll look a lot better painted, and be protected for the future.
