I am trying to obtain a traditional oil seal (black rubber, 'U' shaped with the circular coil spring included) for the top of my rudder shaft. It has a 25mm bore and O/D of 38 mm. A reliable car parts business locally has tried to get one but they appear difficult to get and one needs to specify the car name and part number! Sadly the old one is knackered and all identification is lost. Any possible suggestions of suppliers in Newport/Cardiff/Bristol area much appreciated.
