I have fitted two new engines, each of which have a Hobbs switch where the oil pressure sender would normally be located. I ordered a 'tee' to allow fitment of both units to the one tapping, but it is too high and the senders foul on the distributor, so cannot be used - has anyone come across this problem before?

There is an oilway that is blanked off above the filter on the oilfilter housing, which I had hoped to use but it is a different thread. Before i go and buy the relevant fittings to enable me to utilise this, is this tapping suitable for this purpose?

Any help much appreciated!

Hi

Fit the t piece in where the other oil sender is near to the oil filter on the port side. There maybe nothing in your engine so remove the blanking bung. The oil pressure sender and oil pressure switch sit happily down there.
