Oil change, Yamaha F2.5A fourstroke

Hi,

I brought the tender outboard home to change the oil and left the manual on the boat. It's a 2009 Yamaha 2.5HP short shaft four stroke.

How do I get the old oil out? Does it have a drain plug (can't see one) or does it have to be extracted through the filler cap.

I don't want to have to do a 50 mile round trip to pick up the manual

I'd be surprised if it does not have adrain plug but you may be able to view a manual at

You can and it shows the drain plug with oil cahnge instructions on pages 38/39
