I'm trying to buy a good quality oil burning, fully gimbled lamp for my boat, in chrome hopefully.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for tel numbers/ web pages ect. I've been to many chandlers, but they only have the "standard" types in brass.

Any info would be gratefully accepted.

Many thanks

I spent a long time looking for a good reasonably priced oil burring lamp -- I discounted the nauticalia offerings as they seemed cheap and not well built.

Other suppliers were v. expensive £100 plus for a lamp.

In the end I bought a lovely aqntique one from a firm called oldnautibits for about £50 -- very pleased with it.
