Well thanks a bunch, guys. We'd booked next week off to go to our boat in Mallorca, first time there in quite a few months, and the weather forecast for Palma reads like a disaster movie ie unremitting rain for a week, as a result of which we've decided to cancel the trip
Basically you've stolen my high pressure system and I want it back sharpish. You lot are supposed to be huddled round the fan heater in your saloon avoiding the sleet at this time of year and I'm supposed to be catching rays in some secluded azure bay, not the other way round. The country's going to the dogs, I tell you

There has to be a bright side to global warming /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Sorry to hear about your trip though Mike. I'm sitting in the garden just now in shorts having spent a few days on board in the Sun /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif What I just love about Derg and the SW is it's just 2 hrs by car so no planning, just look out the window and hop in the car when the nice weather arrives. To heck with cattle shed airports and delays, I just couldn't be bothered anymore with all that. BTW, the forecast I saw showed this high drifting over france next week!

The pool water was 24 degree's , sky very blue, wine cold and the right part of the Me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifd. Sorry guy's , but that's how it is.
Boating was brilliant!

Teignmouth was lovely, warm evening sun setting over Dartmoor shining right down the river.

Soooooooo sorry Mike.

We have been in Newtown Ck since thursday and wall to wall sun. The New Inn fish lunches superb as usual........

Now at Swanwick for a blat up the up the river to the North.

Yep - Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun...wall to wall sunshine and some good boating. This is the first Easter we have had in the UK in 10 years and we copped for a good 'un! You're right Mike, it is normally sleety, and windy and any attempts at boating are futile.
