I dunno, I ask a perfectly sensible question about a possible boating event and seven answers later we're all talking about farting! It's like an insane version of Chinese whispers.

It was I. I cannot tell a lie. I lowered the tone of the whole forum and I let myself down.

I let my family down and I let the dog down. I let everyone down with childish comments akin to a schoolboy sniggering at the back of the class.

I most humbly apologise.
 
To continue the childish thread drift....last night in the pub there was a particularly obnoxious Chelsea fan in front of us who kept standing up and blocking the view, and generally being a pain. After stern words and an unspoken threat of violence to his person, he settled down a bit. I poured some beer on the table, and me and bro slowly tipped the table up so it ran down his back, sniggering as we did so.

It was very childish and very satisfying! And the beauty of it was he didn't notice /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And did you hear about the boy in the inflatable world who got hold of a pin? He let the school down, he let his parents down,.....
