It is 7:35pm and I am in Antigua airport awaiting the 8:10 departure flight on LIAT*.

The 'Tanoy' has just announced that the flight is delayed and a further announcement will be made at 9:45pm.

Somehow I get the sinking feeling that I may be here overnight.

Actually the realised the incoming aircraft would be too late.

The combined two flights and sent us off at 8:45pm

Got home safe and sound..

LIAT had a fire recently. A hanger and an Dash8 aircraft were destroyed.

Yes

one of thse

was in the hanger, you can just make out the debris in the rubble. The engines are easier(?) to spot.
