Oh No not another Volvo Parts Question

Oh woe is me!!!

Power trim has packed up on 290 Duoprop (Year 2000) on a KAD 44 application.
When fully up it slowly creeps down, when moored.
At slow speeds ditto but faster.
At high speeds it doesn't move.
Local guy says a complete new pump will be needed.

Does anyone know if valve blocks are available , either new or recon.? If so where from?

Have you noticed any change in the oil level?

Pumps for these aren't too bad- trickett marine do a pattern pump for around £200. Check the oil level and oil condition first in case it's a ram leak- you normally will see milky oil if thats what it is.

Oil level is fine, as is it's condition.

For further info the leg is a DP-E

The quoted price of the Volvo Pump is a mere £456 + VAT plus fitting.
