This Friday 10am UK time we are told they should be showing the edition of "Living in the Sun" BBC 1 (I think) which includes the Sun Coast bit. Fingers crossing but knowing my luck it'll be postponed.

Stop press just realised I could check up coming progs on Sky plus thingy and it looks like they've brought it forward to tomorrow Thursday at 10am cos it says the presenter takes the helm of a luxury yacht, so I suppose its us.

Nice promo ! Shame you could`nt have done a MOB excersise with that plonker you were forced to be nice to, still well done you guys !

I think he's exactly what you want for an advert, a complete novice who is utterly converted to Powerboating in half an hour. He loved it, and was shown to learn easily. A great little ad!

We've just run the Sky+ recording.
Nice to see Phill again.
We dont get to hear much from him on this forum.
Great film sequence.
And to those that havent been there - yes thats exactly what it was like for us - great weather - flat seas - nice people and a smashing little harbour.

I'm with Hurricane on this. Swmbo and I had a super time there and and it confirmed our feeling at the time that we really ought to take the plunge and buy a boat. Anyone thinking of doing some training would be well advised to give them a shout.
The only criticism of the t.v. item is that you failed to get any suitable 'product placement' announcing Sun Coast Sea School to the viewers!

Great work Clive.

Mind trading standards dont come after you.

Luxury!!!

30 knots!!!

20k cheapest boat!!!

£50 gallon of fuel!!

Was the that the theme music from Magnum I heard there?

Anyhow happy days, keep up the good work.

L

Well done Clive. Only the presenter came across as a bit iffy but I guess that was his idea of making it entertaining, which it was. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I thought the F37 looked spot on in this role too.

Music... Magnum AND Miami Vice themes. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

"Nice to see Phill again" erm........I was there too Mike /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I know I'm not the glamorous instuctor /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif but I do contribute like provide the finance, buy the boat, management, arrange the film shoot, you know little things like that /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hi Lozzer

Luxury.......the presenters words (anyway its luxury to some) I now its not like the P67 you were driving on the David Walliams photo shoot but we do own it so there.

near to 30 knts erhem Phils slip of the tongue

20k cheapest boat I sell..........about right in euros.

think he said 50 euros int pocket but yes slip of my tongue there, 50 will buy more
the a gallon of course, they should have done a retake

My only disappointment was that they did not show my 560 underway but some good shots of her at the pontoon.

Hi Bluemac I think cos it was the BBC they cannot do the product placement bit, I guess so anyway.

The Ricochet web site has details of all the companies that have appeared on Living in the Sun, things like contact numbers web addressess etc.
