JFM, good to hear that the 2013 Cloudy Bay is up to snuff. Were you sampling the Sauv Blanc or Chardonay? Looking forward to cracking one open soon :)

SB and the 2013 is very alright. Seems to be settled at £21/bottle in UK. For chardonnay you're better sticking to Burgundy, just imho, cos they have the right soil. A lot of SB flavour comes from the grape, whereas the chardonnay grape is a bit tasteless and the flavour comes from the soil (and the barrels) :D

Fully agree in general, but the CB chard is a bit special IMHO.
