".....and such a lot of world to see." Moon River if I'm not mistaken. I've sailed past there, Moon River I mean, it's in Georgia, I think.

Well done, follow the dream, it's life changing.

Regarding the blog, it probably does need a bit of work on readability, and pictures would be good. But I'm sure that writing a blog isn't your main focus. Small tip - getting snippy at criticism loses you the moral high ground, keep cool!

Congratulations on your delayed start !

What plans have you for route down west of France, this is the bit my partner and me find difficult to decide on. So much different advice and the weather will probably be the biggest decider.

We will be starting our journey may 2013 and spending much of our present time planning a rough itinerary with lots of and's and if's.

The frustrating bit now is the yacht is kitted out, had plenty of trial runs inc the storm over in Alderney jubilee week end. ITS the countdown ...............

PLEASE keep us up to date, lots of us will follow your progress.

will def read your blogs (the jealous knockers will soon disappear) if you dont like the text of a book/BLOG DONT BUY/READ IT simples.

The OP posted here openly soliciting readers and comments. Apparently anyone who does not respond with "oh marvelous darhling" adulation is motivated by jealously.

very good

you have a dream and are following it -

puts you ahead of most of us here

and you are doing it while still young

excellent on all counts

I do like a few snaps if you can squeeze them in as I am a man of a very limited imagination

Dylan

I propose a compromise.

Dylan could you spare a few of your carrige returns?

That way the OP would have a easier to read blog and you would not take as much mouse scrolling to read.

We really would like comments and hope to meet friends old and new.
If anyone can give hints in plain english about how to make cheap phone calls, Internet etc, hints gratefully received.

Sorry I didn't get to see you before you left - have been away for 10 days ourselves. Hope you and MrG have a thoroughly enjoyable life aboard Capisce - would be great to see you back but NOT TOO SOON !!

Bon voyage

I have Pm'd the OP with a batch of carriage returns

I am starting off with a small consignment of 500

that is my contribution to their world adventure

let us hope that other forumites will be prepared to send them a few and with any luck between us we could give them enough to see them right around the World

Like your philosophy about needing stuff to do.I realize now that that is a very big part of boat ownership for me......It must be pretty boring just sitting around under a palm tree as many of us see boat ownership in the glossy magazines.....good luck & fair winds (but not to fair or that would be boring) :D
