Odorlos

I am asuming you are talking about your toilet! I had the same problem. Its the bugs infecting your intake pipe, so anything you put into the system only goes outwards and often misses the beginning of the pipe. Therefore you need to get to the start of the problem. But first get all the scale out of the system with some suitable descaler, this really holds the smell. Best to disconect the inlet pipe at the source and either replace it or completely disinfect it. I used some detol poured in it and left overnight (after having cleared all the scale out) then reconnected it all up and flushed through, using only fresh water. No more smells since. I have a diverter valve to use sea water or fresh, but tend to stick with fresh. Google "headsmistress" for loads more info!

Odorlos is designed to keep holding tanks sweet.
It does.
Our loos are of the drop through variety, and having tried yeast, and my version of the Thames bubbler (very smelly while bubbling) but only works for a couple of days

I now use the magic potion and it's very effective.

However, it's completely useless if you have a macerator loo (the chandler who tried to sell me a look alike said so, how honest - as the look alike was equally poor...)

As others say its the bugs in the inlet pipe that cause the smell, and of course putting snake oil into the inlet will be instantly washed down.

Our loos are freshwater flush, so no bugs there.

The problem is - right product, but wrong application; it was designed for US RVs.
