Oceanis 323 aft engine cover

The aft cover is loose and obviously meant to be removable, how is it fixed ?
I don't want to force it and break something only to find there is a catch inside which could have been released.

No catches on mine, it just lifts up

I have tried this, it lifts up about 3 or 4mm and then will not move any further. I have wedged a large screw driver under it and it will not move. I don't want to damage the wood work so I think I will have to try to look more closely with a torch from the forward end. Thanks for your reply, I will have to try again next time I am at the boat, at the moment it is 250 miles away.

Never had any prob's getting it out, certainly no other catches fitted on mine, have a feeling it may possibly lift up & then pull back???

I'm not at ours, but I am tomorrow when she becomes ours so I will have a look then.

Not much help, but her happy to finally have my yacht!
