I want to replace a couple of blinds on my Phantom38 - it looks as though they came from Oceanair.

These are silver aluminium (Satin Onyx in fact) and are 16mm wide slats.

Is there anyone recommended that can supply an alternate to Oceanair if I can give the width and drop measurements as well?

Thanks

IMP is a distributor of Oceanair, it isn't Oceanair. Yes Oceanair is British, but so what?

Martin there are loads of online blind suppliers but most are domestic blinds and are not the type that are threaded onto guide wires. If you want guide wires you'll need a more specialist supplier. Like Oceanair!

OK no problems - I have sent an email to improducts, looks the best bet, I didnt realise the marine blinds were that different to normal blinds, but reading up on it they seem to have extra features.

Be interesting to see what they charge for replacing the existing blinds - interestingly they are pretty rusty in parts, given they are marine based, I thought they would be better quality against the sea air.

The mechanism has packed up on two of them because of rust, although from the outside they look fine.

Putting guide wires onto venetians is not hard. I do it every day, well most. When I'm doing angled/rooflight windows.......A lot of the "marine" companies are overpriced. Its all Hunter Douglas anyway............
