On holiday in Dartmouth last week moored on the Town Quay. Woke up to find this little mobo had arrived at 7.00am.
Disgorged 2000+ american tourists for a day's shopping in the town and sightseeing. Left at 5.30 by travelling up the River Dart for half a mile or so and then turned round in one manouevre and steaming out forwards. Must have the mother of all thrusters....imagine getting that wrong and 'knocking' into a pontoon or a moored boat or two........

Thanks,
I only asked 'cos the Red Arrows flew over K'b this week and I thought it might have something to do with "your" Regatta as "ours" ended last week.

I was under the impression. That because of the fire earlier in the year the Red Arrows were not allowed to fly this year. They might do more damage to the buildings.

Looks like ocean cruisers buy their tenders from the same place

Moored about half a mile off shore from Whitehaven last weekend, believe it or not, all this for 190 full time passengers

Certainly beats cruising with 'the rabble' on the huge ships with 3,000 passengers on board!

Re the tenders, they look rather like Schat Harding - these folk have a pretty large share of the ships tender (and lifeboat) market.
