Jimmy Cornell's World Cruising Routes is easier to use and Rod Heikell, Andy OGrady's Ocean Passages and Landfalls third edition is by a long way the most up to date for info on for example waypoints formalities, facilities sources of weather etc.

the older tome has more adventure ,like many old sailing directions not so clinical and exact…….

What book offered you such a wonderful chance for your imagination…..make as much westing as possible on leaving the channel…….alas it’s all too well known what lies beyond,an easy package holiday in Benidorm just an easy flight
