anyone been to ocean leisure in london

ocean leisure

we are in London for the day on friday and wondered if anyone has been. I am being dragged around clothes shops by the girlfriend all day for her birthday and wondered whether it might be worth going to as a breather away from the womans shops for half hour

It's nothing special. The usual range of chandlery plus lots of pricy clothing. If you want to visit a traditional chandlery just for the hell of it try Arthur Beale's chandlery at 194 Shaftsbury Avenue. A blast from the past in terms of shop layout and style albeit he does all the modern gear as well as the more traditional stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Ocean are good for charts, books etc. and prices on these are pretty standard. They also have a good range of clothes, foul weather gear etc - but they are not cheap. Good also if you're into diving.
