In order to maintain a suitable supply of mint to make mohitos whilst crossing the atlantic, I have secured the services of a distinguished research team in Lnazarote. Dinstinguished? Yes, that's them over there, with the tattoos and wearing Man United T-shirts, they don't look likeanyone else at all.

Mint is actually in Greek mythology: Minthe was Pluto's lover. Then the wife found out and turned Minthe into a plant, or so they say. What total bollx! Greek Mythology eh? Next thing it'll be that the kitchen appliances used to be Persephone's kids but got turned into cookers and fridges due to their arguing about bedtime.

Er anyway. I am eagerly awaiting the results of the mint plant ovr the next three weeks: If it lasts 1 week then 7 mint plants should be ok to take with mohito's each day. If it last two weeks then i can take 14 mint plants, see?

In any event, Captin"Fletcher"Sensible is destined to stay on a remote island in the middle of an ocean due in no small part to some experimental plant-related project. 200 years ago with the Bounty it was breadfruit, and now here, it's mint.

Plants have been often soothed by being sung to. In order to sustain floran morale we would welcome any suggestions to enhance this project.

Currently, 'Juleps from Amsterdam' appears to work.

Distinguished ? They thought you meant "extinguished", and as there's no hope for MUFC (I am told on bad authority) they have put out the plant to tender.

We must know more. A live weeding-cam must be arranged.

Phone the RSPCMP.

Harrumph .. my solicitor Sue, Grabbit & Run will be serving a writ (two axshally, 2nd for failure to appear at PoW!) for a scandalous breach of copyright ...

All you need is a large compost heap on your yacht. Keep it regularly replenished and mint will grow like wildfire.

The best mohitos in the world are made at the bar in Parque del Jagua, Cienfuegos, Cuba. No wonder the town has been given World Heritage Status. Go there.
