Have some secondhand Volvo Penta 280T outdrive spares clogging up workshop which would like to get rid of.All carefully and expensively aquired over 10 years ..just in case !
Do not want to give the things away but would also like to see the back of the stuff.
The bits, all obsolete are are no longer available or even listed on VP websites.
Thinking of about 25 % of new similar item ?

Sounds reasonable to me. I would be happy to buy at that sort of price.

The notorious "T" Drive. The first VP outdrive nightmare and not the last ?

Put them on the for sale page and let's see!

Bits have been on there for some time with no interest .Now on ebay and only contact is from USA.
Bit of a rare outdrive, suspect that apart from muggins here only about 2 other poor sods in the world had the misfortune to get tucked up with these drives.
Must have been revenge for something I did in a previuos life, :)

I understand your dilemma the parts are worth a lot to anyone who needs them but worthless to anyone else and obviously the the Powertrim parts particularly. You want to get rid of them but have a conciense that if you scrap them there are gone.
Volvo used to and may still have a inter dealer scheme for such parts so may be worth speaking to a dealer although you may only get a nominal amount for them .
The drive was an early attempt at solving a problem based on a standard drive so only the trim parts are unique.
You could try Volvo Paul he may even know a dealer who would be interested.
