Had the privilege of being allowed to wine and dine with a few select Thames boaters in the above establishment,got an invite possibly by mistake but went along anyway,times are hard down here on the Mudway and any chance of mixing with such exalted company and free stuff cannot be ignored.
Been by many times on the boat and often observed assorted Thames folks languidly idleing their lives away on the manicured lawns.
Must say very pleasant being waited on hand and feet by the staff and the grub and wine were first class.
Nice to meet everyone again especially the brave souls who came all the way from Bray in their boats and happy birthday to Elaine on her ** birthday.
