Blooming annoying really, put my boat on the market sort off and somebody has gone an offered the sort of money I was asking for.Sea trial tomorrow, boat sold as seen and lying no messing with surveys.
Now resigned to trudging round deserted muddy boat yards most of the winter looking at acres of old rubbish boats which are always described as immaculate and mostly well past their sink by date.Seen a well priced Princess 37 .....in Scotland and a nice Princess 31Ds in ......France,why is nothing ever on your doorstep.
Anyway there will always be Boatones new toy to play with and if any body knows a bargain boat around 30ft on shaft(s) can deliver the folding in a hardly used Tesco bag,!!!!
Oooh.. and no oil sheik petrols and no work of the devil outdrives thank you very much.:)

But you love outdrives, i've oft heard you waxing lyrical about the little darlings.

What you need is a nice sportsboat with a Mercruiser 7.4l MPI V8 petrol or two in the rear. They'll be on bravo drives, but they won't corrode much in freshwater.
Changing bellows will also service your fetish for solitary trudging around muddy boatyards all winter.

Arrghh......

That P37 in Scotland would def be coming back by truck and how on earth to get a Powles 33 back from Ireland would also be interesting, cabin luggage via RyanAir ?

Out for run with my buyer yesterday, now just need to supply some bank details, made a derisory attempt to start removing 10 years of junk.
Anywho....just how many bottles of B-B-Q sauce does one need on ones boat plus a least 3 cartons of salt that had been at the back of the cupboard so long the cardboard tube had gone soft.Anybody also need half a dozen almost empty squeezy relish bottles with a-bit-left in the bottom or several tins of unidentifiable stuff with no labels, just ask.
Back room is now starting to fill with ex boat junk, beginning to suspect that boats are sort of floating garage ie. place to dump all sort of not wanted at moment and to good to chuck away.

You're lucky to have a back room !! One side of our living room and most of the hall has the distinct look of a boat jumble. However, every day I notice something and ask myself:
a) what is it?
b) do I need it?
c) do I want it?
d) should I dump it?

Anyways, congrats on moving on and (hopefully) leaving the dreaded outdrives behind.

BTW - you could try the half dozen almost empty relish bottles on eBay - amazing what some peeps will buy :D

Ah, saw you drifting about yesterday and tried calling you on the wireless, no reply was the answer. No doubt you were in the middle of some made up story of how you took on the might of the oceans, and persuading the poor soul that he really ought to buy the "fresh" provisions you only recently put onboard in readiness for your next sortie to the upper reaches of the mighty Medway. Oh and these WW2 U Boat commanders binoclears would be such a bargain....

"Ah, saw you drifting about yesterday,"

Think was doing a speed trial !
Did actually start my boat search up at your "marina" on Sat,as my old Dad is working on a 20ft something or other at the upstream end of your pontoon.

Nothing interesting fer sale on yer notice board of course !
