Numpty's question about Wago connectors

When in a block like that they're all connected together. Come in blocks of 5 (or more?). Can be very handy as a common terminal for, say, a 'bus bar' for something digital or NMEA - for a common ground or for connecting an output to multiple devices. I use some with diodes and a rotary switch to power different combinations of LED strip lights from one fuse circuit for different ambient light or backlighting requirements.

They are an idle way to work, but very satisfying and IMHO well worth the money to save the backache of soldering or crimping in awkward corners and to be easily changeable yet reliable.

Yes, they connect separate wires together. I spent ages trying to get pairs of wires to work before I realised I was shorting the other pairs.

Paul and others .... for general low voltage use in boats and cars is there any advantage in using the older larger 222 style Wago rather than the transparent 221 style featured in this thread?

Thanks

Richard

None that i can see Richard. The 221 series is neater and the levers are much easier to operate than the 222 series.
