No they are made the same as new fiats now it is galvanised and so will last forever!! ( I may be exaggerating a little)

I noticed that.... not sure I understand how...?
The fact Fiats are now galvanised is of concern, previously the body used to give up the same time as the engine and electrics, now just the engine and electrics will give first meaning the car has to be crushed rather than just swept up.

They are electrocoated, not galvanised. But I know what you mean.

Err no I think it was a knackered CRD Jeep. Dunno, ask your man. He might still have the photos. I believe he sold it on ebay with a photo of it under water. His excuse was that the hand brake cable broke whilst leaving it on the slip after deploying his boat.
