Ain't she luvley! I love square riggers........I have a friend in Turkey who's yard had the 'Grand Turk' built there.

I remember watching her keel being planked before the tourists flooded to see this amazing ship being built!

Yes, it is reversed. The camera takes em in upright format, but on transfer to computer it comes up as horizontal image. I tried to correct it and [no thanks] it by moving it the wrong way. I tried to edit it but was too late. I wondered who'd be first to pick it up!!!

Strewth, I wonder how long it takes to learn what all those bits do. It took me daysto learn how to fly a 4 string performance kite (a real kite, not one that goes on a yacht)

I've sailed on square riggers and each rope has its position on the pin rail so, when you've 'learnt the ropes', you can find them in the dark. Mind you, there is always that little glimmer of doubt as you release!
