Oi, behave

...yourself young lady. Coming on here as a newbie and taking the pi ..oops sorry mick, out of a stalwart founding forum member such as Haydn, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Course you're not wrong, H can't spell, but then speaking's a bit of a problem for him too.

So apart from that, welcome And good to see you took the trouble to fill in some basic info about yourself, but we all want more details. Tell us about your boat.

Re: now there\'s trouble

Hermees was spelt like that when we got her - something to do with there already being an HMS Hermes we think. An old (but not as old as most of you guys) and very slow wooden TSDY, built in 1963 by Fox's. Takes a lot of maintaining, and yes I do my bit with rubbing down and painting etc. but himself does a lot more. Next time you're in Jersey pop into St Aubins harbour and come for a beer in the Tenby

Fox\'s Revelry

Handsome boat piratequeen. Suspect it's one with the teak decks and mahogony interior, possibly Perkins engines? What speed do you get, about 8 kts at a guess.

Anyway welcome to the forum, more the merrier.
