1. New Editions of ADMIRALTY Charts to be published on 12th January, 2023:

2. New Editions of ADMIRALTY Small Craft Charts to be published on 12th January, 2023: - SCC 5607.11 A River Blackwater Bradwell to Maldon. 1:25,000, B Bradwell. 1:12,500, C Tollesbury. 1:12,500, D Maldon. 1:12,500

3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depth. - One reduction of depth just outside the NE corner of the London Array on the edge of the south side of the Black Deep.

4. NETHERLANDS - Depths. - Two reductions of depth in the buoyed Oostgat channel, off the coast of Walcheren.

Local

1. RIVER THAMES - SEA REACH - OIKOS 2 JETTY LIGHTS -
the two vertical green lights on the upper dolphin at the West end of the Oikos 2 Jetty (approximate position 51°30.23N 000°33.28’E) are extinguished. Mariners are instructed to navigate with caution until this has been resolved. We will issue a further notice once this has been resolved. For the latest information, contact London VTS on VHF channel 68 or telephone 01474 562215.

2. HARWICH HARBOUR - Maintenance Dredging - Mariners are advised that on or about 16th December, the survey vessel Smit Neyland (LOA 12.35m) will undertake hydrographic survey operations within the Haven for a period of approximately 14 days . The GPS Avenger (LOA 27.02m) will undertake plough dredging operations within the Haven on or about 17th December for a period of approximately 14 days. The trail suction hopper dredger Medway (LOA 118.47m) will commence maintenance dredging in the harbour, on or about 19th December for a period of approximately 14 days. Detailed dredger movements can be obtained from Harwich VTS on VHF Channel 71. Lights and shapes as required by Collision Regulations will be exhibited and a listening watch on VHF Channel 71 will be maintained throughout.

3. PORT OF GREAT YARMOUTH - Third River Crossing Construction Update (6) - works will be ongoing on both bridge cofferdams; commencing 12th December, works involving a small safety boat & raft will begin adjacent to the cofferdam structures. Working on one side only at a time. Personnel will be working close to water and vessels should be aware and pass at slowest safe speed to avoid risk to persons and property. Vessels over 40m LOA needing to transit the area should make contact with ‘Yarmouth Radio’ or ‘Yarmouth Pilots’ on VHF Ch12 so personnel can be moved from the waterline before passage.

4. Dredging Operations at Royal Harwich Yacht Club - Dredging operations will be undertaken in the River Orwell at Royal Harwich Yacht Club - ‘Ben Michael’ plough dredger working at Royal Harwich Yacht Club – from 19th December until approx. 16th January 2023. Mariners are advised to keep a wide berth from these vessels during dredging operations and maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch. 68.

5. LONDON ARRAY WIND FARM - Jack Up Operations (Seajacks Hydra) -the Jack-up Vessel “Seajacks Hydra” accompanied by a support vessel on behalf of London Array Ltd, will be on site approximately from 26/12/2022 to carry out heavy lift operations at F07, E08, E12 and H13 for up to 10 days (weather dependant.) Equipment will be periodically deployed and suspended from the vessel crane during jack up operations. All turbines are in-field (i.e. not close to Foulger's Gat so should not hinder the Gat except when the big stuff is moving from turbine to turbine. 6. River Crouch - Dredging Operations at Burnham Yacht Harbour - Burnham Yacht Harbour Marina Ltd will be undertaking their Annual Maintenance Dredging Operations in the approach to and within Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham on Crouch, Essex, between approximately 22nd December 2022 and 31st May 2023. Dredging Operations will be carried out by Motor Vessel BEAVER. Caution should be taken when entering and leaving the Marina whilst Dredging Operations are in progress.

7. Potton Bridge is back in operation.
