UKHO are late tonight. Nothing published yet. Perhaps they are having a party. Still Trinity House has had a go!

Permanent

1. Couple of changes to buoys for the Harwich Deep Water Route. Walker has changed to West Cardinal and the SW Shipwash from a West Cardinal to a Yellow Pillar

2. From 12th January the light at the North Foreland will only be shown at night.

3. The Bell has been removed from the Brake Port Hand Buoy in the Gull Stream

4. The wreck of the Clebe adjacent to the Nass Beacon at West Mersea is now marked with one of Trinity House's blue and yellow temp wreck buoys. See the CTTE chart for the position of the buoy and wreck. Local advice is not to pass between the wreck buoy and the Nass Beacon.

This is really a temporary notice but I have put it here because it will probably become permanent. There is no sign of the owner (to date) salvaging the vessel and it is probably already full of silt and may be further damaged as it appears to have slid into the hole by the Nass. It is still at the moment tied to one of our Committee Boat moorings which apparently floats at LW. That will be recovered shortly. At this moment in time, it seems unlikely that anyone will take responsibility for lifting the vessel if indeed it would stay together while being lifted. A consequence might be therefore that it will have to be buoyed permanently through local arrangements. Unofficially (and do not rely on this, there is thought to be 2.1m over the wreck at LWS)

Temporary

1. London Array Wind Farm - looks like the weather last week prevented much getting done. This weeks programme (mainly in the Knock Deep) is almost the same as last week.

2. Some sediment dumping going on from dredging in Harwich Harbour at the usual places - see the included chart.

3. Couple of new piles in the Wet Down at Ipswich. See the rather indistinct chart included.

Detail accessible at http://www.eastcoastsailing.co.uk/ntm.html or http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page9.html as usual.

I will add the UKHO stuff as and when it appears; 10pm now and its not there yet.

From January, I will be including cross channel stuff from Boulogne probably to Ijmuiden (or however you spell it) and will provide an area section for notices that have been issued for that area in 2011 (currently not quite finished).

Happy Christmas peeps.
