No permanent NtM this week for our area.

In temporary notices:

1. London Array - work adjacent to Foulger's Gat this week. Plus we have received some information from a yacht that transitted the Gat recently nicely supervised by the Guard Boat. There are a few unlit mooring buoys in the Gat connected to anchors and they are increasingly nervous about yachts using the Gat. Best avoided if possible.

2. Some dredging work at Coryton Warf which should not affect us

3. Restart of the test bore hole drilling in preparation for the Kentish Flats Wind Farm extension as from 17th October for 4 weeks. Annoys me this one slightly in that they use a Road map to show the position of the work. If plotted on a WGS84 chart (as shown at http://www.eastcoastsailing.co.uk/ntm.html - goto the Temporary Pages) you will see that the area of extension extends out to the Spaniard. This work could impede anyone using the west side of the existing Wind Farm. Note that the exension when it comes will make using passage down the west side of the Wind Farm a doubtful exercise. Oh, and they appeared to have made a mistake in one of the coordinates. But then if you are using a road map it does matter that much I suppose
