1. New edition of UKHO Leisure Folio SC5607 (10th Edition) Thames Estuary, Essex and Suffolk Coast to be published on 23rd October. That is the folio covering the Roach up to Orford Ness.
2. Couple of new depths in the River Thames at Northfleet. Not likely to affect leisure craft;
3. A Preliminary notice regarding alterations to the buoyage on the 'Chenal Intermediaire' leading from off Calais to the Port Ouest at Dunkerque. Over 20 buoys have been moved but the overall affect remains much the same. Some movements are very small, the priniciple change being that the port hand buoys have been moved north a little to widen the channel, while there is also a general trend to move the starboard hand buoys a little to the west. There is a PDF with the new lat/longs which I would suggest people use to correct any waypoints they may have in the area.
4. The changes in the Yantlet Channel, River Thames announced vide the PLA Notice L16 in week 38 (or was it 36) are confirmed. No change to the small craft crossing places; image available for download on the web site.

Temporary

1. Firework Display, River Thames, Gravesend Reach on Friday, 7th November;
2. Sea-bed obstruction 1 metre high in 8.5 LAT in Harwich Harbour near the Bristol buoy;
3. Work on the Rochester Road Bridge on 1st and 2nd October. Some span closures will apply but no more than one at a time;
4. Work on the Aylesford new bridge requiring the reduction of air height by 2 metres on 1st October;

That's all.:encouragement:
