1. UKHO Notice regarding the cancellation of the Orford Ness light - but we know that already!
2. Reduced swept depth (1.3m) over a wreck to the north of the Roompot Channel close to the Roompotsluis (outside the buoyed channel)
3. Changes to the restricted area for the Thornton Bank Wind Farm in Belgium waters. Took hours this one to find out that heaps of new coordinates didn't really amount to a lot. But there are some blocks to download, especially one from the Belgium Notices which is nice and clear. Take note that from my reading of the Belgium Notices there is a very great deal of temporary buoy changes around these three wind farms. I shall have to update the Belgium wind Farm download on the web site.
4. A long long notice from Trinity House giving notice of changes to buoyage in the Black Deep and Knock John/Oaze areas. This adds to last weeks notice from the PLA about changes to the buoyage in Sea Reach. As it affects a lot of charts and potentially many of us, I have done a downloadable PDF listing all the changes that will take place in August (by the PLA notice in Sea Reach) and those that will take place in October (by the Trinity House notice). this includes new buoyage, movement of existing buoys, swapping a lateral mark for a cardinal and vice versa and some changes to light characteristics. It's all explained in the download which depressingly is FREE!
