UKHO and Trinity House Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary notices:
1. UKHO - ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. -
6 reductions of depth alongside the east jetties of the River Yare. All where we ought not to be!
2. UKHO - ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - 8 reductions of depth on the edges of the Long Sand and Kentish Knock. This is the fifth NtM this year in this area so a total of 23 reductions of depth have been reported. Two images show all 23 reductions.
3. Trinity House - APPROACHES TO GREAT YARMOUTH - HOLM CHANNEL - North East Holm Lighted Buoy - Moved to new assigned position: Latitude 52˚ 33.190’N., Longitude 001˚ 48.500’E. South Corton Lighted Buoy - Moved to new assigned position: Latitude 52˚ 33.450’N., Longitude 001˚ 48.270’E. Movement effected consequent upon a recent survey.
4. Trinity House - APPROACHES TO GREAT YARMOUTH - NORTH WEST SCROBY LIGHTED BUOY - Moved to new assigned position: Latitude 52° 40.344’N., Longitude 001° 46.329’E.

1. RIVER THAMES - ANOTHER oRDNANCE FOUND -
Unexploded Ordnance - has been discovered in the following positions: - Latitude 51˚ 28’.72 N Longitude 000˚ 56’.41 E and Latitude 51˚ 28’.71 N Longitude 000˚ 56’.60 E. In the interests of safety, vessels are advised to keep at least 100m clear of the above positions at all times. Vessels are particularly cautioned against anchoring, trawling or otherwise interacting with the seabed in the vicinity of the above position. The chartlet below shows the general area, with the recommended 100m safety zones around the UXO positions shown by the red circles: - Further information will be broadcast, as necessary, by London VTS on VHF channel 69.
2. Crouch Northerly Cardinal Lighted Buoy - NAVIGATION - Crouch Northerly Cardinal Lighted Buoy in approximate position. 51°37.660 N 000°56.591 E has now been re-established.
3. Approaches to King’s Lynn – Hunstanton and North Beach Heacham. Hunstanton Waterski Club National Race Event - on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th July 2024 the Hunstanton Waterski Club are holding a National Race Event which is to be held on a course off Hunstanton Beach and Heacham North Beach. The course will be marked by 3 yellow visibility buoys positioned in a triangular shape. The Races are due to take place on Saturday 27th between 1030 hrs and 1500 hrs and Sunday 28th between 1100 hrs and 1500 hrs.
Mariners are requested to keep a sharp lookout and avoid the area whilst the races are taking place and maintain a watch on VHF CH 16/14. Safety boats will be in attendance during racing. Contact race organiser - Samantha Impey 07971 641384. Image available
