I know this is a bit previous but I have a day in Turkey on Monday so this is best done now:

Permanent

Just 2

1. About a dozen or so depth reductions at the Long Sand Head, South Shipwash and edge of the Black Deep. All really for the big stuff rather than us apart from the South Shipwash if anyone goes over that!
2. AIS now fitted to RCE (approaches to Dunkirk) oppiste Dyck which already has AIS.

Temporary

1. The PLA have updated their policies on managing the Safety of Navigation and on Enforcement and Prosecution. There is a link, should anyone care to read them.
2. Work on a sluice on St Mary's Island, Upnor Reach, Medway.

I noticed on Tuesday that Harwich Shelf has been removed for the winter but don't recall reading about it, have I not been paying close enough attention?

It was there. Removed on 2nd December. I think since I was in Ireland that week, I decided wrongly on my return to omit it (on account of it having already been removed) which I accept is not logical. I should have put it in retrospectively. But I was zooming off to Turkey then as well. Apols.

I remember well going over the Shipwash many years ago, on our way from Harwich to somewhere vaguely Dutch. It was rather more exciting than we expected.
