2. BELGIUM - Wind farm. Restricted area. Submarine power cable. Lights. Works. Buoyage. - This notice is identical to NtM 2578(P) issued in week 21. This notifies the restricted area of the Norther Wind Farm, submarine cable and lights changes within Zeebrugge. Refer to the images in the notice in week 21 or use the usual download button. (Notices to Mariners). I can't see any changes between the two!
3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depth. - One reduction of depth west of the West Shoebury Port Hand Buoy. At 11.5m unlikely to hinder leisure craft.

5. ENGLAND - East Coast - Harbour limit. Pilotage. - This Notice repeats the previous notice so as to include UKHO chart 1535. This includes the Lowestoft Harbour limit across the harbour entrance in this notice.
6. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - A series of 6 revised depths in the central line of the DW water channel in the Black Deep adjacent to the Long Sand Head. Unlikely to hinder leisure craft (and not really best for us to be there!)
7. ENGLAND - East Coast - Buoy. - This notice repeats NtM 2906 last week which in turn had been earlier notified vide Trinity House NtM No 5 of 2020. This notice is to include the correction for UKHO chart 1534 and is therefore a precautionary Preliminary Notice as a new edition of Chart 1534 has been postponed – now to mid 2020.
8. ENGLAND - East Coast - Moorings. Works. - Medway (Peel Ports) local NtM No 25 notified us in week 22 of the mooring of two drilling rigs alongside Berth No 10 at Sheerness. Two images: one detailed, one general location.
9. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - Two reduced depth either side of the edge of the Thames Channel just above the Mucking No 3 and Lower Hope buoys.
10. BELGIUM - Restricted area. Wind turbine. - A Restricted Wind Farm area, the Northwester 2 Wind Farm, north-west of the Belwind Wind Farm

This shows the Northwester 2 Wind Farm in a more detailed scale including the positions of the individual wind turbines. It is not my fault that one turbines is outside of the Wind Farm limits!

RIVER THAMES - BUGSBY’S REACH - SILVERTOWN TUNNEL BORE HOLE OPERATIONS - On or about Sunday 14th June 2020 contractors working on behalf of Transport for London will be conducting bore hole drilling worksin Bugsby’s Reach in the vicinity of the Emirates Air Line cable car. These works are expected to take approximately seven weeks. Works will consist of 6 individually drilled bore holes across the area marked on the accompanying chartlet. Instrumentation will be installed into each bore hole and sub-sea cables will be laid on the riverbed from each borehole to the closest riverbank. In order to accommodate these operations river traffic will be managed by London VTS. The location of the operation (in relationto the marked areas on the chartlet and table) will be detailed as part of the routine river broadcast. An exclusion zone will be established extending 50m around the works. Images and more details in the Temporary list on the above quoted website.

3. RIVER MEDWAY –SALTPAN REACH GRAIN LNG JETTIES 8 & 10-DIVING OPERATIONS - Diving operations are due to commence at Isle of Grain LNG Terminal on Monday 8th June2020. The dive team will be working for 8 –10 days from the vessels “Renate II“ and “Avocet”to inspect the jetty fire pumps and clean associated intakes. All craft involved will be in contact with Medway VTS on VHF channel 74 at all times who will advise passing trafficwhen divers are in the water. Vessels should passthe LNG terminal with caution,minimise their wash and maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74. LNG Terminal Jetty Positions –Jetty 8 51° 25.93’ N000° 42.18’ E Jetty 10 51° 25.94’ N000° 42.54’ E

UPDATED INFORMATION -DREDGING ACTIVITIES LOWESTOFT HARBOUR - due to unexpected delays, dredging activities are now scheduled for Lowestoft as follows: -Vessel UKD Cherry Sand–Now provisionally due at Lowestoft 8th June for approx.6 days work. Vessel UKD Seahorse –Now provisionally due at Lowestoft 12th June for approx.7 days work. The dredgers will be working in both Lowestoft Inner and Outer Harbour areas, also in Lowestoft Approach Channel (UKD Seahorse only). They will display lights and shapes for dredging activities as prescribed in the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. The vessels will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 14. Vessel movements will be co-ordinated via Lowestoft Port Control. Mariners and Port Users are requested to afford the dredgers a wide berth while they are undertaking dredging operations. River Stour - Kent - EA Works at Pillory Gate Wharf - Masters of vessels navigating through the area of Pillory Gate Wharf are notified that the Environment Agency (EA) are placing a steel work barge at this location. The barge will extend 8 meters into the fairway. The EA will have two vessels acting as Guard Boats, which should be contacted to arrange safe passage through the area. Vessels should be prepared to stop if instructed. Notices will be displayed advising mariners to make contact on VHF Ch 08 or by mobile phone on the number given on the notices.The barge will display an all round ‘Special Mark’ flashing yellow light at all times. Duration of The Works is expected to be around 4 weeks from the date of this Notice.

River Stour - Kent - Sandwich Fairway Buoy off station. - Information. - The Sandwich Fairway Buoy has been recovered and is found to have suffered damage to it’s underwater balance weights structure. It is now under repair and will be back on station as soon as parts for its repair are received and fitted.
7. Port of Wells - Dredging - Life is back to normal!

Blakeney Harbour - The followings buoys have today been positioned to mark the new entrance channel into Blakeney Harbour: HARBOUR ENTRANCE STARBOARD NO. 1, FlG(5s), N 52° 59.039’ E 000° 57.800’: HARBOUR ENTRANCE STARBOARD NO. 2, Fl(2)G8s, N 52° 59.025’ E 000° 57.952’: HARBOUR ENTRANCE STARBOARD NO. 3, FlG(4s), N 52° 58.976’ E 000° 58.030’. Mariners should note that sand banks are building in the area between HARBOUR ENTRANCE STARBOARD NO. 3 buoy and HARBOUR ENTRANCE STARBOARD NO. 4 buoy. Vessels should therefore keep well East of a transit line between these buoys in order to avoid shallow water.
9. London Array Wind Farm - good news. Their weekly work schedule has stopped notifiying of the 500m exclusion zone which partially restricted Foulger's Gat around Turbine C17. So as news about that exclsuion zone has gone, I conclude thre Gat is completely free. They continue to ask vessels to call up any LA craft before entering the Wind Farm.
