UKHO Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary Notices:
1. Week 25 - NETHERLANDS - Buoy. -
A temporary notice announcing a new lit north cardinal buoy off Nieuwe Sluis east of the approaches to Breskens.
It covers beach suppletion works. When we passed there a week ago, the dredger Charlock was pumping sand ashore very close inshore. It keeps a listening watch on channel 14, Vlissingen VTS. I believe work is scheduled till the end of June.
Nieuwe Sluis is the black and white lighthouse just W of the ferry harbour.
