1. New chart 108 (Approaches to the Wash) to be published;
2. UKHO repetition of the Trinity House notice from week 15 announcing the placing of the three safe water marks in Foulger's Gat.
3. Contour changes (20m contour) on the Goote Bank off Belgium and a couple of small depth reductions on the Fairy Bank also off Belgium but no to depths that would concern us.

Temporary

1. Green light on Felixstowe Berth 9 to be extinguished during current work;
2. Work on the London Array involving diving etc. 500m exclusion zone when in operation. There is a pdf to download if going that way.

Announcements!

1. There may be a delay posting corrections next week; I am supposed to be in Turkey but it is, as yet, unconfirmed;
2. There will be some format changes on the web site for the NtM service in consequence of a UKHO licence. All the information will continue, thanks to the UKHO but I will have to lay it out slightly differently;
3. The SW Sunk! Had hoped to get down there on Thursday or Friday but the wind strength is looking a little too strong for accurate data (and prodding round the edge of the sands!). I will get there as soon as possible bt it may now be delayed by sailing voucher earning in Turkey.

Many thanks.

Am (hopefully, weather permitting) heading to Calais on Friday crossing from Barrow to Black Deep by Barrow No2 then down Foulgers. Not sure which way will be coming back but not sure I want to try SW Sunk unless flat calm and after low water after touching there last year. Be interesting to see what you find.

Quite. At the moment the land forecast is suggesting gusts of 30+mph, so not the day to do it on Thursday. Friday is better but not by much.

I will be crossing the Sunk via the same route. I just don't fancy the SW Sunk until more experienced and more patient heads have had a good look. Fingers crossed, the wind farm people won't be messing about in Foulgers.

I look forward to Roger's unveiling of Mystique's Gat later this season ;-)

My understanding is they have finished in Foulger's.

As I now have a female student on board (together with a chaperone for me :p) the need for ablutions will probably mean Bradwell overnight Thurs and leaving just before local HW Fri morning.

See you in Calais
