Not the most exciting week!
Permanent
1. The fog signal on the North Well Safe Water Mark in the Wash has been changed from a Bell to a Whistle.
2. Two yellow special marks removed in Belgium waters, one, a wave recorder from next to the Radar Tower at the Oost Dyke West, the other just to the east of Ostende harbour.
Temporary
Note owing to a software glitch that eludes me I have had to set up a separate page for Temp Notices for weeks 21 onwards - at least until I find the glitch!
1. An anchor lost in the Westhinder anchorage.
2. Four parts of the submarine power cable between the Thornton Bank Wind Farm and Ostende have become exposed (on the seabed) owing to sea bed movement. Image illustrates the positions although I guess no leisure craft would try to anchor over the power cable that far out!
3. Survey off Felixstowe on the Landguard Groyne area starting today and finishing no later than the 17th May..
