Easy week this week.

Permanent

None from the UKHO in the region scanned however we have been advised that this week, probably Wednesday, Trinity House will lift the wreck buoy marking the wreck of the Crebe adjacent to the Nass Beacon and replace it with a port hand mark which will be lit (characteristics unknown at present). TH will also move the No 2 port hand Mersea Quarters mark. At the same time, West Mersea Yacht Club advises that the starboard hand mark No 1 is lit (one of the upgrades promised as a result of mooring fees).

We have also heard from Tollesbury Marina that they are in progress refreshing the marks in the South Channel, replacing those off station and moving two to new positions to reflect the channel. I will redo the chartlefts to both of these as soon as all the required information is available.

Temporary

1. A shore light removed in the West Swale for maintenance.
2. Piling work in Borstal Reach of the Medway
3. Work in the River Bure at Great Yarmouth opposite ASDA's
4. Usual update on the London Array windfarm - some work on laying cables and erecting one turbine just off Foulger's Gat.
5. Details of the Thames closures for the Jubilee Pageant at the end of May, beginning of June.

That's it for now.
