Notices to Mariners Week 15

All about wind farms this week - well most

Permanent

1. Replacement blocks by the UKHO for charts covering the Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm
2. Replacement blocks by the UKHO for charts covering the Greater Gabbard Wind Farm
3. Temporary notice regarding the Belgian Wind Farms. I have done a couple of CTTE sketch plans to illustrate these.

Note that I am working on a 'Southern North Sea' (Wash to Westerschelde) overview of the status of Wind Farms for the start of the season.

Temporary

1. Notice from the Crouch HM that one of the Swallowtail buoys is temporarily off station.
2. Advance notice from Trinity House of the intention to switch off Orfordness Lighthouse in June

Nothing yet from the London Array (Bank Holiday) - expect in-field cable work.

Now for a bank holiday trip by road to Southwold.....

Note that I am working on a 'Southern North Sea' (Wash to Westerschelde) overview of the status of Wind Farms for the start of the season.

That will be great - I have so many bits of paper / marks on charts I don't know what is current! Maybe I should buy a newer chart
