Week 2 has also listed Notices this week but hasn't finished off the weekly list so presumably might add some after the Bank Holiday. So this is up to date at this moment but might add some more tomorrow and non holiday days this week.

Permanent

1. Week 2 has three reduced depths in the approaches to Lowsestoft. One of the three is worth noting in particular; in Lowestoft South Road a spot is shown over 6m is now reduced 0.9m! Pretty slap dans le middle!
2. Week 1 has one deleting nine ship mooring buoys south side of the Thames just east of Barking Creek.

Temporary

1. The President 1918 (the ship) is being moved by towage (and reduction in height by a crane/barge) down to the Medway on or around 25th January. It will move slowly from the Embankment down to Medway.
2. Mutford Lock closed from 4th to 10th January;
3. Woolverstone Marina (MDL), has construction and dredging works due to commence at Woolverstone Marina on or around the 11th January 2016. These works are scheduled to last for approximately 8 weeks. Involved with a Spud legged backhoe dredger, Multicat, 2 Split hopper barges and a Workboat. The Split hopper Barges will be depositing material in the disposition area in Buttermans Bay & Long Reach.

No 2 is the Broads. I have always been reading the Broads NtM but I have never bothered to add them. Should I?

I have only just noticed the thread & to make use of it i would like to know how I find the full details online please
I am particularly interested in" permanent" item "1"

Go to my web site www.crossingthethames estuary - specific page: http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page9.html. The page will automatically show the 2016 UKHO permanent notices (and usualyy any preliminary stuff that can be shown by Trinity House. I illustrate every permanent UKHO NtM. There is a button that you can push for the item for the UKHO NtM verbatim and the other button to download a PDF of the image of the Notice I have created. You can keep that and print it if you want.

In the menu there are 6 regional areas between the Wash to Dover which repeat UKHO Notices so any you particularly want to focus in the area. The NtM in these regional list go back - I think back to 2010. The idea is if you are going for a cruise in a different area you can quickly check the Notices for that area (the image in the page will show the areas. I also added Boulogne to Hook of Holland an extra region a couple of years ago.

The menu will also show the Temporary Notices. I monitor harbour areas for Kings Lynn, Wells, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Broads, Harwich, Brightlingsea (and Colne), Blackwater, Crouch, Medway and Ramsgate. I also monitor the Wind Farms - which is not always very regular. I hold all the Permanent Notices (UKHO will delete those when the chart is re-issued) but the Temporary ones get deleted when finished.

So for No 1 you can see my image using Imray charts annotated and you can ge the verbatim NtM. I am licenced by the UKHO to do this (and I have a very good relationship with them) and with Imray (with whom I also have an excellent relationship).

Hope that helps.

East Coast Pilot and I (CTTE for short Crossing the Thames Estuary) overlap but we do not duplicate. For example the Deben and Ore spring changes are picked up by East Coast Pilot. That's pilotage so I don't repeat that except (because I don't omit any Notices within the overal area) when the UKHO published a NtM about the Haven buoyage. Generally the UKHO is a couple of a weeks later than East Coast Pilot's detail. On the other hand I only cover the Notices strictly. In the middle of the Estuary I do occasional surveys and get some privilege from other authorities. The Port of London have just sent me a survey that did an outline survey of the Middle Sunk. I will draw up a chart - but I suspect it is not a Middle Sunk Swatchway that we would want to use. I'll confirm shortly when I have finished the data.
