Single 'L' shaped bar pub on the Nothe peninsula, on south side of the harbour. The pub is food-led with candles on tables and celebrated local chef. At the rear is a terrace garden with views across the harbour. No dedicated parking but public car park opposite. Opens at 8am for breakfasts and coffee. Beers from Marston's range.
Ah, the Nothe Tavern. I remember it, eaten there once. The food was great, especially the pork belly. The thing is had the issue with was the size of the portions. it's like they are trying to make it good, but cheap, and get you to order more. Considering the prices, they could have had more class.
