Well as we get closure to our planned week away (from 16th) cruising west taking in the sites of Devon and Cornwall, hopefully even making it to the scillies it looks like the plan might be off due to weather /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I know its still a bit far ahead to know for sure but all the sites I've been monitoring suggest its not going to be that special.

Really gutted as we were really looking forward to the trip, but I don't want to just go ahead regardless as it won't be much fun if it is wet all week.

So looks like plan B and maybe fly off to the med on a cheap late booking

Shouldn't get too upset yet, Chas, forecasts ahead not very reliable. Only last weekend, up to Thursday the weekend forecast was poor, turned out to be a cracker.

You could always join us this coming weekend. Hoping for my first cross channel to St. P.P with Duncan acting as guide. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Chas,

We saw the weather for next week, decided against putting the boat in for a week and booked for Spain! All in Spain will be cheaper and better weather but no boat /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Cheers

I was thinking about seeing if I could charter something, but suspect that would be too expensive even for something fairly small.

Still I'll keep my eyes peeled on the forecast and wait till Tuesday/Wednesday next week before making the final decision.
