Would appear a club member has actually purchased a Turbo 36 while up on the Thames.
Now on his way back down returning to civilisation and RCC via WID.
That makes our total about around dozen at least and probably another half dozen in the immediate vicinity on the Mudway.
As they only built about 300 ? we have probably got 10% within a few miles of each other.

I always fancied one but as they had such high freeboard they didn't suit me as I was always single handed. Getting on and off would be a continual challenge in full Locks.

My thoughts exactly, for me the Sedan 36 would be the preferred option.

Think the latest addition to the RCC T36 fleet was purchased up around the Kennet and Avon area.
Story was,the boats owner passed away a few years ago and his wife was reluctant to part with "Wave Dancer " ????

Had a phone call totally out of the blue a day or two ago from a chap interested in my boat.
Not getting my hopes up but SarahT could be coming up the Thames to Richmond.
We will see.

Ps. "Becca Lou" came through on her way back up to Yalding on Wednesday.
Jim was most grateful for your assistance.

There are several in our marina and they very rarely venture out for this very reason. The majority of the moorings in the area are low river bank moorings and getting on and off the T36 makes them a real handful.

yes remember him well, he was a member of Bray CC. That boat had been shipped to Spain for a few years and then came back again.
