3 days of sitting under the Itchen Bridge in case somebody fell off the gantry. Nobody did! And the bridge appears to be safe!
Still, back up to Edinburgh tomorrow to bring that big boat back! See you next week.

Interesting video David, although can you tell me whether I'm paying for that through my SO14 council tax or the £1.20 I have to pay every time I go over the bridge?...Or both?... ;-)

Probably both and a bit more besides. Still, not be good if it came crashing down and you were on it. Now that would be waste of your dosh! Well, half of it anyway!

Thats quite old film now as the work was completed a while ago? They have also installed fancy lighting on the bridge that calm the jumpers to stop them throwing themselves off

That film was taken today and yesterday! I was there, in fact since Monday. And if you go down to the bridge tomorrow you will see them hanging over SWAC. On Monday and Tuesday of next week they will be examining the pillars as well.

Oh, well I have been off work for a few days with man flu, hense I must have missed the goings on from the waterside development at Woolston. Will hopefully be back there tomorrow, will video you if I see you out there still
