Goodness me - liked the first picture but the 2nd one looks scarey - do give us the background !

Locking in to Cardiff during the bottom half of the tide.Due to the large tidal range they have to fill fairly fiercely or you would wait hours to be locked up.

Its not as bad as it looks the noise of the water roaring in makes it a bit more dramatic though!

I should have guessed where if not why from the colour of the water - live on Bristol Channel where water reminds me of "home" (East Coast) but where the boat is the water is (wait for it .....) clear !
