Hi all,

My apologies if this has been covered already, but I've been away from the forums for a while.

I'm listening to Moneybox Live on BBC R4 and have just learned that Norwich And Peterborough does not charge for overseas withdrawals.

We still have our Nationwide account, opened specifically because it never used to charge, and are now thinking of transferring.

Thanks for that info deamonboy, I along with no doubt many formulites have a Nationwide debit card just for that reason, only to have the rug pulled from under our feet just when the season for foreign trips comes along !

thats right.
ive been using my debit card all over europe and it gives commercial rates on the day of withdrawal for Euros and even Serbian and Bulgarian Leva without any charge.

it takes about a month to sign up and recieve all the documents but its worth its weight in extra cash.
