Norway excursion

Made it to Norway during week of 1 June. Bit of a hairy crossing. Had wind of about 7 and 8 for over 50 hours. Pillow got wet and everything.

Made it past all those oil/gas rigs at a hell of a rate. But isnt Skudeneshavn such a lovely land fall?

The steak was a super way to celebrate our arrival. Had some Merlot with it.

Going back first week in July to sail her further up the coast. Pleased to have such a reliable vessel twixt me and the oggin.

Currently in the sailing club in Stavanger. Monday 6th July will betaking her up thge coast to Alesund making plenty of stops on the way.

In case, viking does get round to answer you in time, he's a Brit (Frank) and lives in Aalesund. A very hospitable fellow, do make contact with him if you can, he helped us out a lot.

I'm in Ålesund. I live here. If you know roughly when you might get here. I might be around other wise we might pass on our way south. Have a good trip. There are some wonderful islands between Bergen and Florå check out local tourist offices they have good handouts on marinas and anchorages.
