It's been a 11.month times waited by one canopy manufacture and let down three times so I gave up on them.
I think he out did himself and didn't want to say he doesn't want to do it. Well I knkw hw didn't after what i heard from somebody.
Anyway, I have got a quote from Canvasman and also SPL in Hull.
I have not heard of SPL untill a memeber on here sent me pictures of his boat, same as mine.

No there is little reviews on SPL, which I like to see but they come in at saving of £1200 so £2500' as to others being nearer £4k. So a good saving but then its quality you want in these things at these costs.
I am thinking as SPL have done them before its the reason it's a better price.

Anybody used SPL in Hull for canvas work and can comment on there work.

Hull = North West?! Was going to say Pwllheli is where most around here (Liverpool) go for theirs. Bit far from Humber, mind (and many months wait apparently).

I've not had work done by SPL but have bought materials from them and they have always been top quality at excellent prices. I've also noted there works vehicle at Hull marina quite a lot in the past so they must be doing something right...I would think! ;)
 
Have you tried Steve Goacher Sails in Bowness on Windermere? I’ve used them a couple of times with good results.

I am trying to keep it as local as possible. reason cost if i cant take the boat to them due to them not having room for it. And it saves a good £700 if i can take the boat to them. Also there are so many about and i have spoke to two ( Canvasman and SPL ) and happy with them but lowest price is always best way to go.

Others aswell as one of the best in the Northwest, Amtrim, says its a difficult canopy to make and a lot of work and didnt sound to much into doing one for this boat. He was going t o buy the same boat but didnt bother once he looked at making a canopy for it.

PSL have made them before and Canvasman sounded very confident and is expertise was great.
