We are having a week's holiday at Embleton and it would be great to get on a boat for a day or maybe two. Does anyone know if there are any opportunities for this kind of thing in the area. Thanks Ted.

Well there's Billy Shiels boat trips from Seahouses, mostly to and around the Farnes or were you thinking more of chartering?

Well, I was thinking of something with sails on it. We've been on one of the boats out of Seahouses and enjoyed it very much and will probably do the same again.

Hi Ted, I live in the North East and its a beautiful coast line to sail, however chartering is just about non-existant but I rang around a few people i used to know who used to charter at some time in the past and they only came up with one number, Paul Gretton 0191 2654472 this used to be Bob Muncur Sailing (ex Newcastle United footballer) but I dont know if its going under the same name. the boat is or was "Northern Rock" sailed it when Bob Had it but that was a few years ago. anyway hope that helps,
